Simply speechless as I read the Kindle edition this week. My wife, a patient of Dr. Alex, read this last year when it was first published and urged me to read it. Resisting, I started it Thursday, a week and a day after an office visit with Dr. Alex, where he told me it was now available. I began the journey just before dinner, and finished the book after dinner. I could not put it down until I had. Exceptional insight into a personal struggle to survive, mature, help humanity, and excel. A history lesson for those of us who have not held a history book open since the 60's. A history lesson for the generation that now holds the key to future survival in their young hands.

dr alex is currently treating my wife. This doctor is one of the most caring person we have ever meet. His knowledge and background is amazing. Highly recommend reading story of a real person.

Inspiring story and eye opening especially in light of what's going on in Syria and the surrounding counteries.

This is really an awesome book to have as an introduction into cooking with a Sous Vide. It’s always challenging for me to come up with new ideas each week when cooking for my family. I found the recipes in this book to be a lifesaver as they offer so much variety yet most of the ingredients are what we already have on hand in our cupboards. My kids love choosing the new recipes they want to try out each week and they are so easy to follow that even my youngest helper can lend a hand! Even though it’s recommended to finish off some of the main courses by searing them on the grill or browning them on the stove to give them a more finished look, I did not always find this necessary. I love the Tip and Tricks section of the book as well as the basic sous vide cooking chart to help determine what dish I wanted to cook depending on how much time I had. The selection of chicken, beef, pork and seafood recipes will keep my family satisfied (and not sick of the same dish week after week) for a very long time! And best of all, cleaning really is a breeze!

Interesting way to learn about Sous Vide cooking. Although there seems to be some grammatical errors, the book does a good job of taking you through the process of how to cook food without doing much! No heating up the grill or prepping for hours. Simply make ahead of time, freeze, or have prepped before work/school and you’re off. There are some great recipes too like Risotto, steaks, and even beverages. Who knew you could infuse alcohol by using Sous Vide? Pretty cool! Overall, good cookbook about learning the process and how to prepare food in this unique way. Famous French chef’s love it too so it has to be good. Thanks for writing this cookbook and passing along some great recipes. Will be talking about this to friends and family for sure.

I absolutely have to be gluten-free. It has several cake recipes with almond flour. Would be very easy to convert them to Keto Some very interesting recipes. It has suffered for flavored oil. I am dyslexic I caugh several edititing errors. Has nothing to do with the recipes. I want to try several of them.
